The workshop was a great success with everyone pitching in to get the donation of fabric from the Hutchins sorted and kitted up. We created kits of fabric for 3 yard quilts for donations that will be worked up in the near future.
We also sorted fabrics for other projects. Some of it is going to make shorts and tshirt dresses for the Vermont Refugee Project. Also the fleece, along with the fleece donated by Les and Sue Hass, will be made into hats to be given to the VRP and also to the Syracuse School Needs program for next winter weather. We also plan other community projects.
