<p>Meeting called to order</p><p>Jan had a previous engagements</p><p>22 members</p><p>2 guests</p><p>Jackie welcomed members and guests</p><p>Meg Sherwin from Holy Family school asked if someone from our guild could work with and/or make a quilt our her preschool class, contact Holy Family School at 483-4443 if you are interested</p><p>Meeting minutes were read, Chris made a motion, Mary Ellen seconded, all were in favor</p><p>Treasurers report was read, Donna a motion to accept, Mary seconded and all were in favor</p><p>Jeanne discussed the April workshop, Barbado Bag, everyone really enjoyed the workshops</p><p>May workshop – paperpieced workshop for ribbons for the show, 4 inches</p><p>June workshop – Rangely Star, you can purchase rulers from her the day &nbsp;of the show</p><p>July workshop – Just threads use of different types of threads</p><p>August 14 and 15th workshop – Friday night before the show and Saturday, Joan Ford trunk show and chopped block quilt block</p><p>This fall we will have a workshop to make diapers for babies in Nicaraugra, September or October</p><p>Old Business:</p><p>Challenge – Reminder the quilt challenge is for the quilts of valor</p><p>Program Coordinator 2016: Sue Black, many thanks to Jeanne for her years of service</p><p>We still need a Co Chairperson of the quilt show, anyone that is is interested in chairing please contact one of the officers</p><p>The raffle quilt is finished and is at the quilters, many thanks to anybody that participated. &nbsp;It will finished in time for the first day of raffle sales on Memorial Day</p><p>A letter was sent to Honor Flight letting them know they had been selected to receive a portion of our proceeds</p><p>Review of quilt camp – We were a bit lite in attendance this time, we took in $430, we had a great time, we are going to start doing it until Sunday afternoon.</p><p>The next quilt camp is October&nbsp;</p><p>Quilt Show – The chairperson was asked people to start thinking about whatt committees they want to serve on. &nbsp;Also she suggested that we have a bin for people to donate quilts for veterens</p><p>The AQS show in Syracuse in July was discussed</p><p>Pat Naigle is coming to Potsdam in one week May 12, contact Donna if you plan on attending and plan on eating lunch with the group</p><p>New Business:</p><p>Marie Doria is thinking of opening a quilt shop in Chateaugay, she is looking for support, everyone is in support and would really like her to open it soon.</p><p>Next meeting is June 2</p><p>Sue Black made a motion to adjourn, Mary seconded all were in favor.</p><p>Meeting adjoured 7:32</p>
