AQG Quilt Retreats
AQG quilt retreat weekends have been held in June and September at 4H Camp Overlook on the shores of beautiful Mountain View Lake, NY. Guild memebrs stay right at the camp Friday thru Sunday. AQG Raffle Quilts from the past
Every other year AQG creates a special quilt that is raffled off as a fundraiser to assist local community organizations of the North Country. Winner is drawn at the conclusion of the biennial AQG Quilt show which is held in May of even years.
AQG Community Service
AQG use their members' quilting skills to assist several community service organizations and individuals throughout the North Country .
AQG Saturday Workshops
AQG has a day-long workshop on the third Saturday of every month from 9AM-mid afternoon at the Malone Adult Center, 18 Morton St, Malone, NY. Covered dish luncheon at noon. A different project at each workshop led by AQG quilters and sometimes guest instructors- see "Activities" tab for schedule. Open to all AQG members and guests. 2012 AQG Raffle Quilt - "Adirondack Lonestar"
Fundraising quilt raffle. Proceeds will be shared with the Franklin County (NY) Down Syndrome Society.
96" square machine pieced, hand appliqued, free-motion quilted quilt.
Raffle tickets available from any AQG member. $1 each or six for $5.
